Jarviss way of honoring her mother eventually got picked up by people worldwide to commemorate the day as Mothers Day. Gradually, the idea of Mothers Day struck a chord with people, and this day began to be celebrated globally. In different parts of the world, Mothers Day is celebrated to honor motherhood and acknowledge the love and efforts of mothers.
