I am 38 years old, when I was a student in middle school and high school or even university, I heard every year that the growth rate of my country was above 10%, when a country is poor, it is very easy to achieve a high growth rate, but when your GDP per capita is above 7000 USD, the growth rate would go down, like what happened in Thailand, Malaysia, and many south American countries. So it is not a surprise to make such a number, the hardest thing is:1 improve GDP per capita from 1000 to 10000usd, 2, increase this number from 10000 to 20000usd. The four Asian tigers on average use 13-18 years to finish task 1 and another 13-18 years to finish the second task.
