经典解析：as引导让步从句用法及周边考点

as作为从属连词，可引导让步状语从句，意思是“虽然，尽管”。此时语序是强制性的，也就是只有以下异常语序才表示让步状语从句：

1.形容词或副词+as+主语+连系动词be实义动词

Young as he is, he has been one of the most famous painters in our country.

虽然他还很年轻，但已经成为我们国家最有名的画家之一。

Happy as they were, there was something missing.

尽管他们很快乐，但总缺少点什么。

Much as they hope to go home tomorrow, theyre resigned to staying on until the end of the year.

尽管他们很希望明天就回家，但不得不待到年底。

Much as he likes her，he does get irritated with her sometimes.

虽然他很喜欢她，有时候还是会和她生气。

Much as I like you, I will not marry you.

虽然我喜欢你，可是我不会与你结婚。

2.名词+as +主语+连系动词be(注意句首的名词不带冠词)：

Child as he is,he knows a lot.

尽管他是个孩子，但懂很多事情。

Child as he was, he knew what was right thing to do.

虽然他是个孩子，但是他却懂得应该做什么。

Boy as he was,he was chosen king.

尽管他还是个孩子，但却被立为国王。

Living as he does in the country, he is very familiar with town life.

3.实义动词+as +主语+助动词（如果没有这个词，则要加上一个do\does\did

Try as he may,he never succeeds.

尽管他很努力，但总是不成功。

Change your mind as you will,you will gain no additional support.

即使你改变主意，你也不会得到另外的支持。

Change you mind as you may, I am determined to carry it through to the end.

也许你会改变主意，但我决心坚持到底。

Try as he does,he never seems able to the work beautifully.

尽管他很努力，但他似乎永远也做不出漂亮的工作。

Tired as he was，we decided to disturb him.

尽管他很累了，我们还是决定得打扰他一下。

说明1：

as也可以引导原因状语，构成异常语序；

Tired as he was, we decided not to disturb him.

由于他已经很累了，我们决定不去打扰他了。

Tired as they were, they went to bed as soon as they came back.

他们由于很累，一回到家就上床睡觉了。

Unaccustomed as I am to public speaking , I beg your indulgence for my few inelegant works.

由于我不习惯于发表演说，有些话讲得不大得体敬请原谅。

说明2：

as和that都有类似表示让步和原因的异常语序用法。只有在表示让步关系时as或that才可以和though互换；且互换后，语序异常是选择性的，也就是说是though表示让步关系时可以采取正常语序或异常语序皆可。

虽然我失败了，但是我不会放弃我的目标。

Fool that he was,he managed to evade his pursuers.

尽管他很笨，但是他还是设法摆脱了追捕他的人。

说明3：

写作的时候要注意，当上述从句的主语是代词，那么as、that、though后的主谓部分是不需要倒装的，就好像上面的例句一样；但是如果主语是名词，那么从句的主谓需要倒装。比如：

Colossal as are the difficulties before us, we are fully confident in surmounting them.

尽管摆在我们面前的困难是艰巨的，但是我们有充分的信心克服它们。
